This is an interjurisdictional and global challenge as workers are pitted against each other by financial institutions, multinational corporations that have driven a race to the bottom in terms of worker rights and benefits. Collective bargaining, organizing workers, and strong unions are crucial to moving towards an economic system that truly values labor. It is important in our current political climate to have candidates that will clearly prioritize and articulate the value of workers over bosses.
